Description
ISF-1 is a serum-free, chemically defined medium for culture of hybridoma cell lines and the production of monoclonal Antibodys (mAb). Because of the known composition of serum-free media there is less batch to batch variability, which leads to a better comparability of different experiments. Also the risk of viral or mycoplasma contamination is very low.
MAbs produced in serum-free medium are easier to purify, which safes time in the downstream processing. ISF-1 supports cell growth and antibody production without the addition of growth factors. Compared to other serum-free media ISF-1 is superior concerning cell growth, viability and productivity.
